The unbelievable transformation of the "dusty little crossroads to nowhere" town of Junction to the awareness of the whole state of Texas as seen through the eyes of the citizens of the community is truly amazing to everyone. A coach and his staff on their way out cross paths with an unusually talented and dedicated group of young men in an out-of-the-way spot on the map and turn the sports world of Texas on its ear. And to add to their storybook-like tale, they have even higher expectations than anyone has ever thought of or imagined, and they make them come true. They become the "dream team" even before the term has been coined.
