Jonathan Handel is an attorney practicing entertainment, new media and technology law at TroyGould in Los Angeles and is also a contributing editor at The Hollywood Reporter, where he covers entertainment labor and various other business matters. Handel holds an A.B. magna cum laude in Applied Mathematics (Computer Science) from Harvard College, and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. In spring 2010, he served as an adjunct professor at UCLA School of Law, where he taught a course on entertainment unions and guilds.In addition to The Hollywood Reporter, Handel's work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Variety, the Los Angeles Business Journal and the Daily Journal, and on the Huffington Post, Forbes.com and AlwaysOn.
