Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Thomas L. Anderson has always had a love for art and poetry. Whether drawing cartoons underneath his moms coffee tables to drawing comic strips from the Sunday paper he always seemed to find his comfort spot when when he was faced with the challenge of writing poetry and creating art. A perfect blend of humility and talent Thomas continued to develop his skills.Thomas is now a Lawrenceville, Georgia based electrician and portrait artist who specializes in charcoal and pen & ink portraiture. His expertise in art includes owning his very own art studio, Art By Thomas, in which he draws charcoal portraits on commission. When Thomas gets time to himself he still loves writing poetry and cartooning.Thomas' love for writing and drawing has led him to taking on his most challenging and fulfilling project yet 'Fifth Street' a series of children's books. Set in a place where Thomas once called home. Built up of fictitious characters Thomas sees this as a way that he can use his artistic ability to give back to his community and children across the world.
