Dr. Steven Thompson has been practicing dentistry in Plano, TX for 16 years. He attended college at Texas A&M University and after his 3rd year at A&M he was accepted into Baylor college of Dentistry. He graduated with honors from Baylor in 1994. Dr. Thompson really enjoys being a dentist and has a real passion for cosmetic and implant dentistry but also likes helping patients with TMJ pain, bad bites and age worn smiles. Dr. Thompson recently received his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry; this is the highest award for continuing dental education presented by the Academy of General Dentistry and requires over 1100 hours of disciplined and comprehensive dental study covering all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Thompson is also a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Dental Association. When he is not practicing dentistry Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with his wife and their three daughters. Dr. Thompson enjoys helping his daughters reach their goals and is actively involved in their sports, church, and extra-curricular activities.
