This Guidance is geared toward those engaged in the procurement process, spatial-urban planning, infrastructure delivery and public services provision, suggesting how to get the most out of PPP and to pursue a more sustainable public financial planning.Its second edition includes also the private sector perspective, to seek out and apply for the investment opportunities given by these long term deals, addressing step-by-step its main issues and describing role and activities to accomplish for investing time and resources in a successful long term partnership with the public sector as counterpart. Besides, it has been updated and enriched to include the unsolicited proposals, the public private dialogue (PPD), PPP institutional bodies and new tools (e.g. indicators to measure public services provision, long term deals management).
