What is a model? The important thing Mary did was answer the call. Without her response, there would not be Christianity! Her response to motherhood is the ultimate model for all would-be mothers. Her life was never the same and she put her son’s need above her own. As a model her interests were to please God and to help shape her Son’s future. The model is that Christianity has increased into the leading religion of the world. Mary’s life teaches us that as the Mother of Christianity, she only followed the will of God’s Divine Plan, as Jesus her Son established His Church. Mary the ultimate model teaches us how to follow her Son Jesus and the Father and remaining in Union through the Holy Spirit. My personal experiences got me back to this faith based on Scripture and studying Jesus and Mary as the model of life.
