The exercises in boxes are quite good and [are] a distinct advantage over other texts. The weblinks at end of each chapter are helpful. Walter Greczko, Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning Chapter 4 provides an appropriate balance between research and the applications. The writing style is very appropriate for the college level.

I believe this is a solid chapter [four] on the theories and it does mention more current beliefs in criminality. I believe that this book is current with references to cases in 2005.
