The recipes are included, but be forewarned that many of these extravagant dishes were created specifically for this book and no restrictions were placed on the chefs. Some recipes are very complicated, others are quite simple. They are all delicious to the eye and are well worth trying because they are also delicious to taste. Photographed by renowned photographer, Alan "Battman" Batt, New York Sweets captures and documents the imagination and creativity of the crème de la crème of the culinary world. A few of the chefs included are Marcus Samuelsson of Aquavit, Grant Achatz of Alinea Chicago, Emily Isaac of the Union Square Cafe, Florian Bellanger of Fauchon, Jasmine Bojic of Tavern on the Green, and Jessica Isaacs of Nobu.
