Randy Gross was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1956. After living in Israel, Denver, and Los Angeles she eventually found home in Santa Barbara, California where she lives with her husband and their five children. She has been a veterinary technician, a surgical nurse and now a writer. This is her first book.

Randy Gross is CEO of a real estate investment company in Tempe, Arizona. He also has served as an executive for the City of Tempe and the State of Arizona. He received his MBA at Cornell University and BA in Sociology at Brandeis University. He won a Literati award for an article co-authored in the "International Journal of Business" on the topic of corporate governance in the new economy. He lives in Tempe with his wife, daughter, and dogs Snoop Dogg and Littl' Bow Wow.
