Connie lives on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. She is a retired business owner; and certified fitness trainer. Her poetry has been published since 2008 in Rain Bird, a college journal of Windward Community College, Kaneohe, Hawaii. Recognized in 2010 she received the Kolekolea Honorable Mention for her poem "Writing Retreat". Her short stories and poems have also been published in various other print and online journals. She is the author of four poetry books, which also contain her own photography. She has traveled to six of the seven continents, enjoys motorcycling and in her spare time volunteers at the local Friends of the Library in Honolulu. She is currently working on a novel.
