Yet you don't really know your true character until you are confronted by unimaginable events.As a single mother of two young boys, while living with my father, I was faced with the life-changing decision to turn him in to the police for possession of child pornography and molestation of a four-year old neighbor girl. I am a firm believer that all children deserve to be protected, even if it's from your own family member. I have to admit that I never envisioned myself writing a book. But after the events that transpired in my life, I felt compelled to share my story in an effort to help others. I believe that people from all walks of life can learn a lesson, or maybe several lessons, from my journey. I can only hope that as a society, and as individuals in our respective societies, that we will continue to search for ways to protect our children.
