As a young boy about to enter school, Bobby Anderson discovers Fred Rogers and his neighborhood and decides to emulate him. In order to instill a love of baseball in his son, BOBBY'S father introduces him to the game via the great Roberto Clemente. Later in school, Bobby is led to George Romero and the fun of movie making. Finally, in high school he finds Andy Warhol while studying humanities. Along the way, Bobby and his family fight intolerance and bullying as Bobby channels his heroes.

Kathleen is a New Jersey native, graduate of Rutgers University and moved to Pittsburgh to attend law school and establish a domestic relations practice. She is the mother of two intelligent and talented grown children, Travis and Morgan, and is married to George, a fellow lawyer and teacher.
