He has been involved in aviation for more than 50 years and is the recipient of the FAA's Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. He lives in Basin, Wyoming.Terry Michmerhuizenis a designated airworthiness representative with 10 years of experience teaching aviation maintenance at the university level. He was a U.S. Army helicopter mechanic and a chief inspector at a FAA-certified repair station. He lives in Gobles, Michigan.
