This dissertation offers a critical analysis in the ability of EU equality law to effectively address multidimensional discrimination. The choice of the topic is strategic: intersectional discrimination is a current issue in EU equality law and policy, where the combination of a person's race/ethnicity and sex/gender remain under-researched in EU legal discourse. The strength of the book further lies in the comparative and interdisciplinary approach it offers. The book will be of interest to individuals in EU agencies, institutions, and non-governmental organizations, as well as practitioners and students of non-discrimination and labor law. Dissertation.
