TextbooksRus.com is teaming up with other large rental companies to provide customers with a large rental database designed to bring buyers and sellers together in a safe and unique environment.

How does it work?

Rental products will be displayed on the TextbooksRus.com listing page. When a buyer places a rental order for your product, you will be notified via Email to ship the order directly to the buyer. When the rental period is over, the customer will return the book directly to you. Customers will print out a packing slip for each book returned. In the event of a multi-line rental, each item will be returned directly to the shipper.

What kind of commission structure do you offer?

Rental partners are paid twice a month with payments two weeks in arrears. We take a 20% commission on all rental orders with shipping fees paid directly to you. Within this commission structure, we take on the full transaction and default risk.

At the end of the rental period, items are returned directly to you at a rate of $5.99. Each additional item returned per rental is $2.00.

What are the time periods permitted for rentals and extensions?

Customers can rent a book for one semester. We offer one 10 day extension period for $9.99, after which time the book must be purchased or returned.

If the item is not returned by the due date, the customer will be charged the buyout price.

What is the buyout price?

The buyout price charged byTextbooksRus.com is 125% of list price less the rental deposit paid. Customers can purchase the book at this rate at any time during their rental period. The buyout price will be charged if the item is not returned at the end of the rental period.

Additionally, the buyout price may be charged for items that are returned damaged and cannot be used again.
